Elizabeth is the current Mayor of the City of Laguna Beach and a member of the Economic Development Committee of the Orange County Business Council. She served on her city's Planning Commission for 6 1/2 years prior to being elected to the City Council in 2002. She serves as an ex-officio board member of the Festival of the Arts/Pageant of the Masters and has also served on the boards of the Laguna Art Museum and the Orange County Forum.
Prior to locating to Laguna Beach, Elizabeth served under Cleveland Mayor George Voinovich (who ultimately became Governor of Ohio and is now a U.S. Senator) in marketing and economic development capacities. She also manages her own marketing and outreach consulting firm, ADworx.
