Linda Lindholm is currently serving as a Governor Schwarzenegger appointee to the California State Board of Psychology.
Linda recently completed two terms (1996-2004) as a member of the Laguna Niguel City Council, including two years as Mayor. Linda has served on various City boards including being liaison to the Investment and Banking Committee, the Legislative Review Committee, the Youth Committee, and the Parks and Recreation Committee. Regionally, she served 4 years on the San Joaquin Transportation Corridor Agency, 2 years as Chairwoman. Prior to being on the Laguna Niguel City Council, she served on and chaired the city's Planning Commission and Environmental Review Board.
Linda received her Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Kansas. Linda has always been very involved in her community and has served two years as President of the American Cancer Society Saddleback Valley Unit, serving as their first co-chair for their now annual Relay for Life. She served as Board Member and as President of the Saddleback College Foundation. She is a Founding Board Member of the California Women's Leadership Association. Linda is founder and immediate past President of the Beta Foster Care Advisory Board. Additionally she served on the Advisory Board for the Raise Foundation formerly known as Prevent Child Abuse Orange County.
She is a member of the Laguna Niguel Republican Women Federated, was elected to and has served two terms on the Orange County Republican Party Central Committee, and she was appointed by Congressman Chris Cox to serve two terms as one of his voting delegates to the California Republican Party.
Linda was honored in 2002 by Assemblywoman Patricia Bates as Woman of the Year in recognition of her dedicated civic and community life.
